Abissale introduces a new vision of sports watchmaking by Kala Nea. A 300-metre diver where Italian engineering meets contemporary elegance, shaped into a bold and unmistakable design.

Its AISI 316L stainless steel case, defined by distinctive octagonal-inspired geometry, combines strength with refinement. At its heart, the ETA 2892-A2 Top Grade automatic calibre delivers the precision at the core of every Kala Nea creation, while the silicone strap with deployant clasp reinforces its technical, contemporary spirit.

Crafted from AISI 316L stainless steel, the case interprets the octagonal form through bold geometries and balanced proportions. Its polished surfaces enhance the interplay of lines, creating a distinctive silhouette that is instantly recognizable. Measuring 41 × 42 mm with a refined 12 mm thickness, it delivers a commanding presence without excess. Water-resistant to 300 metres, it embodies the authentic spirit of a diver in a form that is bold, refined and unmistakably Kala Nea.

DIAL & HANDS
Black is not simply a colour, but the starting point. The matte dial meets a tone-on-tone Côtes de Genève decoration that subtly emerges as the light shifts, adding depth and character to its surface. The octagonal rehaut strengthens the dialogue with the geometry of the case, creating an immediately recognizable visual continuity.

Custom-designed hour markers and hands feature Swiss Super-LumiNova® Grade X1 with blue emission. In darkness, the dial reveals another side of its character, defined by an intense and distinctive luminous signature. In the light, it reveals the details. In the dark, its character.

At the heart of Abissale beats one of the most refined expressions of Swiss automatic watchmaking: ETA 2892A2 Top Grade.

A calibre chosen not only for what it measures, but for what it represents. At just 3.60 mm thick, with a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) and 21 jewels, the 2892A2 embodies the complexity of mechanical watchmaking within remarkably slender proportions. Its bidirectional automatic winding system transforms the movement of the wrist into the energy that keeps its heart beating.

For Abissale, we chose the Top Grade version, because what remains unseen should live up to what is visible.

Designed for the water. On Abissale, black silicone is not simply an alternative to a steel bracelet. It is a deliberate design choice.

Flexible, lightweight and comfortable, it naturally adapts to the wrist while expressing the true aquatic character of Abissale. We didn’t want to add weight. We wanted to create freedom on the wrist.

Instead of a traditional pin buckle, Abissale features a custom Kala Nea deployant clasp with mixed finishing, bringing together the technical nature of silicone with the precision and refinement of metal.
