Kala Nea was born almost by chance, from the meeting of three watch enthusiasts. While debating what made the “perfect watch,” we could never agree, too big, too shiny, too expensive… So we asked ourselves: why not create one that truly reflected our own taste?
We wanted a unique, personal watch, crafted with technical precision and Italian artistry, that distinctive quality admired all over the world. We immersed ourselves in the production chain, facing challenges and inevitable mistakes along the way. But with persistence, and the support of the right partners, we found our path. Only one element was missing: a dial that would bring uniqueness and artistic value. We found it thanks to an artisan who believed in the project so deeply that he became part of the team. After three years of work, in 2025 Kala Nea was officially born. A dream we now want to share with you.

Liberty style
Art Nouveau or Art Nouveau style was a movement that developed between the end of the 1800s and the first decade of the 1900s with the aim of breaking with tradition and proposing a totally new art that would stand up to industrialisation, exalting a return to the pure, dynamic and vital force of nature. In Italy, it is also known as the floral movement and it is an unmistakable style, like that of each of us! This led Kala Nea to want to create its first ‘Opera’, a hand-wound classic that carries with it the strength of its uniqueness and the desire to leave its mark on the world of watchmaking.
CALIBRE
Landeron Swiss made
The L376 caliber is a large manual-winding mechanical movement with small seconds at 6 o’clock, produced by Landeron Swiss Movements GmbH in Switzerland. Its architecture is inspired by the tradition of Unitas calibers, reinterpreted in a modern key, with bridges finely decorated with Côtes de Genève.
Landeron has historical roots dating back to the 19th century, and after a long evolution, it has recently established itself as an independent manufacturer specialized in producing high-quality mechanical movements, designed and made in Switzerland.
The L376 caliber represents a balance between robustness, elegance, and aesthetic customization possibilities, with finishes and components adaptable to the Client’s project.
Kala Nea chose this movement to give heart and soul to its first timepiece, with the certainty of offering a product that combines technical reliability with the authentic Swiss Made spirit.

Kala Nea has chosen to embellish its timepiece with a leather strap made strictly in Italy, the result of the craftsmanship of master leatherworkers. Every detail, from the selection of the leather to the cutting and stitching, is carefully executed to guarantee comfort, durability and timeless elegance.
